The Liberals Are Content To Watch It All Burn.

(Akiit.com) It seems quaint, even a little funny, but during the Cold War, President Ronald Reagan and Soviet Premier Mikhail Gorbachev agreed to “set aside their differences in case the world was invaded by aliens.” Today, Democrats can’t even stop to take a breath before spinning, twisting, or straight-up lying in an attempt to damage President Donald Trump and Republicans in the face of a pandemic. That’s a special kind of sick; an evil that sees opportunity and advantage in stoking fear and panic without concern for the wellbeing of others.

You’d think, or at least hope, in an emergency, so-called “news” organizations would verify everything they report, knowing the public is on edge and listening for information. You’d be wrong.

The reason there are panics, toilet paper and food shortages, is not because there are reasons to panic or need to stock up on food, it’s because the people whose job it is to inform are seizing on circumstances to manipulate. It’s not that they own stock in grocery stores or paper and canned goods companies, it’s that they’re invested in a liberal agenda.

You don’t need to stock up on toilet paper, you don’t need to buy canned soup like you’re an obsessive Andy Warhol fan; we aren’t experiencing a shortage of supply, but an artificial surge in demand. The same amounts of toilet paper and food produced last year are being produced now. But thanks to media misinformation creating fear, demand has spiked. There are people now with more canned vegetables than they’ll ever eat, more toilet paper than they’ll ever use, more over-the-counter medicine than they’ll ever need, and they went into debt to get it. It was unnecessary – production has not stopped, stores are being restocked. The panic is inciting people to run out and buy more – just in case – the second it hits the shelves.

The credit cards being maxed out because of this hype will have to be paid off, credit ratings will be destroyed. News anchors and pundits creating this fear won’t be there to help with that, though they’ll likely use that as an opportunity to attack the president too.

All they have to do is tell the truth, whatever the truth is, as they confirm it. Instead, we’re getting rumors – a game of telephone or 6 Degrees of Kevin Bacon passing as journalism. When U.S. Surgeon General Dr. Jerome Adams said as much, asked the press to calm down the rhetoric and focus on information that can be helpful to people, CNN’s liberal media defender scolded him on how criticism is American, missing the point completely. This is the same human potato who screams like a 10-year-old girl about threats to the First Amendment every time the president tweets criticism of the press.

MSNBC had noted homophobe Joy Reid bring on a progressive activist to claim Fox News has been killing people for years, so coronavirus is nothing different. That helps no one and conveys no useful information, but it helps keep their audience riled up. And that’s what they care about most.

A gaggle of New York Times reporters “spontaneously” all decided to take half a quote from the president to imply that states “are on their own” when it comes to needed equipment. That is not true, that is a lie. That will cause panic and people will go deeper into debt and depression because of it. The whole quote, not just the part liberals used, is, “Respirators, ventilators, all of the equipment — try getting it yourselves. We will be backing you, but try getting it yourselves. Point of sales, much better, much more direct if you can get it yourself.”

Multiple Times “reporters” and the paper itself tweeted out only “Respirators, ventilators, all of the equipment — try getting it yourselves.” No “We will be backing you,” no context about how much more quickly they can get it directly, just the false impression that, as one Times editorial board member put it, “Trump told governors this morning they are on their own.” That is a lie. Disgusting, not surprising.

It’s more likely journalism awards will be given to these people than any of them will face negative professional consequences – no one will be fired or suspended, and none will likely ever so much as acknowledge their deception. That many people don’t make the same “mistake” when the truth is so easily obtained.

Some people are just willing to burn the whole thing down because they don’t like the guy running it. The damage to people doesn’t matter, even a body count won’t matter to these people. They have an objective, and they aren’t going to let little things like the truth or even basic human decency stand in their way of obtaining it.
