(Akiit.com) T.I. may be faced with a lawsuit from Duke University, after the rapper arrived late and walked off the stage early during the university’s Cameron Rocks! concert that took place on Saturday (Apr. 7).

According to Duke’s student newspaper The Chronicle, T.I. was paid $70,000 to perform for a full hour at the Cameron Indoor Stadium, but he abruptly exited the stage and ended his show 40 minutes into his set.

According to Duke University Union officials, the Grammy Award winning rapper was late to the concert, because he attended an unrelated dinner at P.F. Chang’s China Bistro, leaving over 3,000 fans waiting.

In related news, T.I. has been booked to play at Cornell University’s Cornell’s Slope Day Celebration, which takes place on May 4th, 2007
