3 Reasons Not To Get A Flu Shot…

(Akiit.com) It’s that time of the year again where conceivably you could miss several days of work, countless hours of fun with family and friends, or worst – spend too many hours sick in bed! It is the dreadful “Flu Season“!

Most Americans are being urged to get a flu shot to protect against getting sick. However, before you rush to hand over your hard-earned dollars to get punctured, here are 3 reasons why you should rethink your position:

1. The majority of flu shots contain 25 micrograms of mercury, an amount considered unsafe for anyone weighing less than 550 pounds! The groups that are most sensitive to the neurological damage associated with mercury are infants, children, and the elderly.

2. No study to-date has conclusively proven that flu shots prevent flu-related deaths among the elderly. Yet, this is one of the key groups to which they’re promoted to.

3. It’s no longer a secret that even If you get a flu shot, you still CAN get the flu (or flu-like symptoms) at any age. This is because it only protects against certain strains, and who knows exactly which flu viruses will be in your particular area.

Okay, so if you don’t get the flu shot, what will prevent you from being the next victim of this hideous yearly visitor?

– Eat garlic regularly
– Consume high-quality krill oil daily
– Exercise
– Get adequate sleep
– Address any and all emotional stress
– Wash your hands regularly (but not excessively)

Lastly, two very useful supplements if you should contract the flu virus would be Olive Leaf extract, as it has been proven to be a potent broad-spectrum anti-viral agent, and Vitamin D.

So you don’t have to be worried “sick” about getting the flu – just be proactive instead of reactive!
