The Harassment Of President Donald Trump: GOP Congress Step Forward!

(Akiit.com) The bitter acrimony directed toward President Trump and his family is unlike anything I’ve seen in my lifetime. Many attackers are has-been “personalities” who think attacking him will somehow reboot their failed careers or save whatever career they think they have.

Take, for instance, Kathy Griffin. She was no better-known for her stand-up comedy career than Stormy Daniels was known for her getting-naked-on-camera career before Donald Trump became president. Albeit they are both called the same thing Daniels’ career makes her, and it isn’t “actress.”

Griffin at first stopped but then quickly returned to attacking the president because it was the only way she could get noticed.

Hollywood isn’t viewed as a bastion of erudition, but it is known for immorality and amorality. Take Alec Baldwin, who claims that he wanted to be president. This probably explains why he became an actor; it was so he could get paid for fantasies he could never attain in reality.

Baldwin has made more of a name for himself by attacking President Trump than he has an actor. As an actor he is bulbous-belly mordicant closely resembling an ambulatory potbelly stove.

Add cowardice to the moral opprobrium of Baldwin and you have Peter Fonda – another pathetic loser who longs for the acclaim he enjoyed in 1969 when the movie “Easy Rider” hit the theaters. Most millennials probably haven’t heard of “Easy Rider” much less heard of him.

It seems that cowardice and anti-Americanism is as much a Fonda family character trait as is their desire to stay relevant. Fonda tweeted: “We should rip Barron Trump from his mother’s arms and put him in a cage with pedophiles and see if mother will stand up against the a–hole she is married to. 90 million people in the streets on the same weekend in the country F–.” While the tweet has been deleted, one could wonder if the pedophiles he referenced were his Hollywood friends and contemporaries.

Fonda also called for “the public beating and humiliation of government officials and the doxxing – the illicit revealing of personally identifying information – of Border Patrol and Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents and officials and their families, to be stalked and harassed by outraged liberals. … In an article posted by the National Border Council, the union that represents Border Patrol agents slammed Fonda as nothing more than a ‘forgotten actor’ who has transformed into an attention-seeking ‘domestic terrorist.’” (“National Border Patrol Council Drops the Hammer on Peter Fonda – ‘Domestic Terrorist,’” Ben Marquis, Conservative Tribune, June 20, 2018)

Fonda backpedaled from his comments faster than his sister kisses a communist, when he became aware that the first lady had notified the Secret Service – proving his attacks were just an attempt to bring attention to himself.

Fonda wasted no time apologizing upon realizing there were consequences for his vile diatribe: “I tweeted something highly inappropriate and vulgar about the president and his family in response to the devastating images I was seeing on television,” he said in a statement. “Like many Americans, I am very impassioned and distraught over the situation with children separated from their families at the border, but I went way too far. It was wrong and I should not have done it. I immediately regretted it and sincerely apologize to the family for what I said and any hurt my words have caused.”

The question that begs an answer is, would he have seen the error of his ways if the threat of Secret Service intervention weren’t hanging over his head like the “Sword of Damocles”?

Attacks and threats continue as President Trump’s staff and their families are bullied and denied service in restaurants, which is a civil rights violation. Would that be condoned if they were black liberals? Congress-creature Maxine Waters has called for the public condemnation and harassment of the president’s staff and their families.

Where is the Republican Congress? Why isn’t the Secret Service taking action? It’s one thing for a “barley, hops and yeast” fed bovine like “Samantha Bee” to hurl insults – she is intellectually incapable of more. It is a despicable dereliction of responsibility that a Republican Congress permits the dregs of society to foment physical violence against our president, his family and staff.

It is therefore up to you and I to bombard the congressional offices with notice of our displeasure. It is up to us to force Republicans to take action by making it known this behavior won’t be tolerated. The Democratic Party certainly would if it were a Democrat in office. Bill Clinton was a serial molester and batterer of women, but Democrats circled the wagons to protect him. Obama was a disgrace on every quantifiable level, yet Democrats attacked all who dared to speak truth about him.

The release of graphic photos of Obama’s daughter drinking and doing sexual gyrations to a person from behind while attending a concert were called inappropriate because children of the president were off-limits.

Why would Republican congressmen and leadership to do less for President Trump and his family?
