Attorney Jock M. Smith Awarded With Honorary Doctor of Divinity Degree
Montgomery, AL (Akiit.com) – Attorney Jock M. Smith, president and senior partner of The Cochran Firm, recently was presented with an Honorary Doctor of Divinity Degree from the Montgomery Bible Institute and Theological Center. President of the Institute, Dr. W.L. Muse, says that only three such degrees have been presented to individuals with one being bestowed posthumously.
Smith was the keynote speaker at the Ninth Annual Founder’s Day Celebration Banquet which was attended by the Institute’s board members and pastors from around the country.
“I am humbled and inspired in the Lord to have received this honorary doctorate degree from an institution solely committed to advancing the Kingdom of God,” Smith said.
Smith received an honorary Doctor of Divinity degree from the Pentecostal Bible College and presented by the President and Founder, Bishop George Austin.
